literary services

Do you have a writing project on the go?  Well done for getting it out of your head and onto paper!  I am happy to offer my services to authors as an experienced illustrator, editor, proof-reader. lay-up designer and writer.  I also offer marketing plans for self-publishing authors.  I provide freelance services, including to clients of PublishMe, a self-publishing facilitator.

I have an MA (1st Class Hons) in literature and history and a background in research and writing for academic and public sector purposes.  I have illustrated and edited a number of books in a variety of styles, including children's literature, autobiographies, poetry collections, and policy texts.  I also have considerable experience in the areas of business development and the preparation of written materials for the commercial sector (strategic and business plans, operations manuals and franchise materials, etc), and I have assisted with the development of editing schedules for university course material.

I understand the publishing process, being the author or illustrator of several published books and reports.  I am reliable and have excellent time management and work prioritisation skills, and I bring strong presentation skills to any project.

Please email me for a quote.  I look forward to working with you.
